    REGISTRATION

    • 1. It is the responsibility of the applicant to confirm their registration by visiting www.SoutheastSportsFestival.org or calling the SESF Registration Coordinator, the Florida Sports Foundation at (866) 354-2637.
    • 2. An official team roster is available in this information and should not be mailed in prior to the tournament. Teams must submit an official team roster and a Waiver of Liability for each player at the mandatory coaches meeting.

    FORMAT

    • 1. Pool play advancing to a single elimination.
    • 2. All teams are guaranteed three scheduled games except for when #12 of Sport Rules applies.
    • 3. Rosters are limited to 18 players and three (3) coaches. Only three (3) roster changes are permitted to the final roster submitted at a team’s State Games qualifying location. No roster changes will be permitted once a team submits their final roster at the mandatory coaches meeting.
    • 4. The Tournament Director reserves the right to change the format.
    • 5. Teams must check-in with a tournament official at their competition site a minimum of 1 hour prior to the scheduled start of their first game.
    • 6. The designated home team is responsible for keeping the official game scorebook. The designated visitor team is responsible for operating the game scoreboard.
    • 7. Three balls will be provided per team, per scheduled game. Practice and additional game balls must be provided by team as needed. Balls will be distributed before each game by the site manager.

Every effort will be made to provide scorekeepers and scoreboard operators at each facility, however teams should be prepared to provide table personnel.

    SPORT RULES

    • 1. National High School Federation baseball rules apply unless specified within.
    • 2. Home team decided by a coin toss.
    • 3. Tournament baseballs will be supplied by the Southeast Sports Festival.
    • 4. No metal cleats in the 10U, 11U or 12U age divisions.
    • 5. Forfeit time is game time.
    • 6. Protest fee is $50.00. An umpire's judgement call is not protestable.
    • 7. Uniforms are to be matching shirts with number on back.
    • 8. If a player or coach is ejected from the game, they will be suspended for the remainder of that game and the following game. If a player or coach is ejected at the conclusion of the game, they will be suspended for the following game. A second ejection of the same player or coach will result in a suspension from the tournament. Based on their action, the Tournament Director or Site Manager may suspend the player or coach at anytime.
    • 9. Fighting and obscene language will not be tolerated! Any team or team member fighting will result in that team being suspended from the tournament.
    • 10. The 10 & Under and 11 & Under division will play 6 innings and all other divisions will play 7 innings. There will be a 2-hour time limit in all age divisions. Pool play games can end in a tie. In single elimination, if a game is tied at the end of regulation or time limit, in extra innings, the player that made the last out of the previous inning will be placed on second base to start each 1/2 inning and play will continue until the tie is broken. The championship game of each division will have a time limit.
    • 11. Run Rules: Eight runs after five innings for seven inning games. Eight runs after four innings for six inning games.
    • 12. In the event of inclement weather, the Tournament Director reserves the right to change the format in order to complete the tournament.
    • 13. Divisions/Field Dimensions: 10 & Under 44’ pitching, 65’ bases; 11 & Under 50’ pitching, 70’ bases; 12 & Under 50’ pitching, 70’ bases; 13 under 54’ pitching, 80’ bases, 14 & Under, Junior Varsity and Varsity divisions all use regulation fields.
    • 14. Age cut-off is May 1, 2010 for 10U – 14U. Age cut-off is August 1, 2010 for Junior Varsity and Varsity Divisions.
